Airbnb
Idea
Airbnb, a fast-growing tech company at the forefront of the sharing economy, needed to establish structure to grow their employee food program to complement the company’s values and growth at Headquarters.
Collaboration
What started as a simple system implementation to replace Airbnb’s personal chef model, quickly became a continued involvement in building one of the most unique self-operated employee food programs in the country. Fare Resources implemented operational infrastructure including staffing, ordering, equipment overhaul, scheduling, event production, menu creation, financial monitoring, team effective communication, local and responsible purchasing, and many other systems. The program expanded from two to four services per day in two months. In addition, we helped design the kitchen in the new company HQ that allows the program to expand and continue to be unique and exceptional. Due to many enticing factors, founder of Fare Resources, Gabriel Cole - has recently accepted a job as their full-time Food Service Program Manager.

The Local Butcher Shop
Idea
The Local Butcher Shop, a model in whole animal butchery, needed to revise their pricing model and refine marketing efforts to fit the butcher shop identity, spirit, and ethos.
Collaboration
Fare Resources worked with shop owners, Monica and Aaron, to vet pricing of all animals and value added products. While retaining their unique whole animal pricing system, we identified unprofitable products and animals, made recommendations for product offering changes, and conducted an overall expense audit. At the core of the marketing plan, we defined the butcher shop brand which we used to revise the website, implement social media strategies, revise in-store signage and perform a retail service workshop. For us, they’re a model business for the community and beyond.
